strikeout.nu Naihati is a town and an important railway junction station on the Indian Railways network, in the district of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. Naihati municipality is one of the oldest in the whole country and was established in 1869. It is the birthplace of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the author of India's national song Vande Mataram; and of the political artist Chittaprosad.[2] It is also the birth place of the famous Quantum Chemist Dr. Debashis Mukherjee, the developer of multireference coupled cluster theory.
